Last week, Music Forward hosted our annual holiday party in Beverly Hills. \"\"It was a time to reflect and to celebrate the impact we\u2019ve all made together this year. We were joined by our partners, supporters, and friends to applaud the accomplishments of 2019 and reaffirm our mission as we enter a new decade of opportunity.<\/p>\n

In gratitude, our Executive Director Nurit Smith, spoke of the hundreds of Alliance members, businesses, community partners, industry partners, mentors, and volunteers who contributed this past year to make a difference \"\"in young lives and made 2019 one of the biggest years of impact in Music Forward\u2019s 26-year history.<\/p>\n

Alumna Victoria Elise and her band from East LA treated the audience to an evening of jazzy originals and wintertime classics showcasing the incredible talent of young artists from our program.<\/p>\n

Music Forward is working to create the kind of world we want to live in. We\u2019re putting young people and new ideas at the center of conversation, while using music as a platform to create opportunity and equity. As we move into 2020 with plans to reach 20,000 youth, we invite everyone to join the movement and harness the power of music to elevate our communities and empower the next generation!<\/p>\n
